Our Mission
Camp ReCreation has been serving people with developmental disabilities since 1983.
Each year, Camp ReCreation provides a residential summer camp program and engaging year-round activities for its participants to inspire fun, friendship, social interaction and spiritual growth – all while creating valuable respite for parents and caregivers. Camp ReCreation also strives to increase the awareness and acceptance of persons with developmental disabilities in the greater community.
Camp ReCreation is under the patronage of the Diocese of Sacramento and supported by the Knights of Columbus and many other generous individuals and organizations.

Participants with developmental disabilities attend camp each summer.
Camp Recreation provides the opportunity to attend summer camp to over one hundred and thirty-five individuals with developmental disabilities each year.
